The program kicked off on Monday with children offered a range of skills sessions each weekday afternoon.
PCYC club manager Dave Hitchick said they have had bumper numbers of children in already these holidays, and the gymnastics program has provided a range of new options.
“There’s individual discipline workshops and they can trial new skills during the two weeks,” he said.
Balance beam, vault, tumbling, mini trampoline, floor leap, handstand shape and dance for gymnastics are among the workshops on offer.
Sessions commence at 4.30pm each weekday afternoon and run for two hours.
Mr Hitchick said drumming was added to the PCYC’s regular activities list these school holidays.
“It’s on this Friday afternoon and also next Monday morning,” he said.
“It was really popular when we did it the other day.”
Golfing has also made a return to the club thanks to Matt Barrett’s golf academy.
The PCYC holds morning, afternoon and full day sessions, with children from five to 13 years welcome.
Cost is $25 (half day) or $30 (full day) and all children must be a PCYC member ($10) to take part.
Meanwhile, Bathurst Regional Art Gallery (BRAG) has a range of creative school holiday activities on offer.
A still life paining session is on Tuesday, followed by a 3D wire self portrait class on Thursday, and a make your own drawing machine workshop on Friday.
All activities are designed for children aged 8-17 and cost is $10 a person. Every session runs for two hours and commences at 10.30am.
Meanwhile, free entry is on offer this Wednesday to a range of Bathurst museums for International Museum Selfie Day.
