Brian McGrath and John Judge will talk about the history of the Oddfellows Hall in Keppel Street at the next Bathurst District Historical Society Monthly Muster. The Monthly Muster talks are held in the Uniting Church Activities Hall opposite Machattie Park. Musters are open to the public, with a 7.30pm start. Holy Trinity Kelso Market Day will be held from 9am to 1pm at the Parish and Community Hall at 81 Gilmour Street. Home-made cakes, garden plants, second-hand books, white elephant stall, bargains for blokes, arts and crafts, pick-a-leaf, pre-loved clothing, jewellery, chocolate wheel, a barbecue and coffee and refreshments.
Writers of all genres, from novice to experienced, are welcome to attend this Sunday's brunch of the Central West Freelance Writers' Group from 10am to noon at Le Billot de Boucher cafe, 16 Victoria Street, Millthorpe. Bring along a short piece of writing to get feedback. A 100-word story-writing challenge will also be tackled for fun.
