The ride, on a windy day on the Central Tablelands, started at Mount Panorama and finished at Oberon to raise money for Lifeline Central West and awareness of mental health services.
Spokeswoman Rose Hancock said there were 104 bikes, 12 pillions and plenty of soft toy black dog mascot Winstons that took part.
“Even though the wind created some interesting riding, the day went off with only minor problems,” Ms Hancock said. “We had great feedback from participants.”
Ms Hancock said it will take a couple of weeks to get a final fundraising tally, but organisers have about $3000 to $3500 collected for Lifeline Central West to date.
The fundraising was given a boost by the Bathurst Liquor Accord when it presented a cheque donation for $1000 towards the Bathurst Black Dog Ride One Dayer.
The donation, which was arranged between Bathurst Black Dog Ride committee member Randall Gentle and the Bathurst Liquor Accord, was made at the Knickerbocker Hotel.
”We still have an online auction going that will finish on March 30,” Ms Hancock said.

In terms of the ride, Ms Hancock said the most important thing was that “conversations were started and we got the message out in the community that it's okay to talk”.
