Local Land Services is divided in to 11 regions across the state, each with a local board responsible for the oversight of day-to-day operations and local strategic direction.
The Central Tablelands region is home to 156,000 people and operates from offices in Orange, Molong, Mudgee, Lithgow, Bathurst and Cowra.
“The Community Advisory Group will be a direct link from the local board to the wider community and members will play an important role in steering the strategic direction of the organisation for the next two years,” Central Tablelands LLS chairman Ian Rogan said.
“Local Land Services plays a vital role right across the region, providing agricultural advice, biosecurity, natural resource management, and emergency services.
“We not only value diversity but we are seeking it. We strongly encourage nominations from all sectors of the community.”
The group will meet three to four times a year.
Applications close April 27. For information on how to apply, phone Rob Burdock on 0417 972 163, email robert.burdock@lls.nsw.gov.au or visit centraltablelands.lls.nsw.gov.au.
