The Family Fun Day is a beloved part of the community, having won the Bathurst Community Event of the Year Award in 2016 and been nominated again in 2017.
BCFN chair Annette Meyers said Saturday will include a lot activities for children.
“We provide free food, activities, games, entertainment, demonstrations, drumming, jumping castle, face painting, circus skills, giveaways and lots more,” she said.
“Children can also complete a ‘passport’ by collecting a stamp from each activity to enter a draw for lots of amazing prizes.”
A cardboard box parade will also be held, with children able to make things to showcase in the parade.
The Family Fun Day will start at 11am and run until 2pm in Peace Park.
This event is made possible through donations and contributions from a range of local sponsors, clubs and community groups.
“Community spirit and inclusivity is the key to this fun, entirely free, family friendly event making Bathurst a better place for children, families and the whole community to live,” Ms Meyers said.
