Police have received reports of five incidents, all within a couple of blocks of each other at Kelso.
In the first incident, a thief entered a home on Marsden Lane through an open door and stole a wallet from the kitchen bench, along with cigarettes and a lighter from an outdoor table.
Thieves also entered a vacant home on Marsden Lane through an open window before stealing a guitar and speakers.
Police are investigating a break-in on Jarrah Court where thieves smashed a window and stole jewellery and cash, along with a break-in on Rosemont Avenue where the offenders removed a flyscreen, smashed a window and stole some jewellery.
Police have also been alerted to an attempted break and enter on Coolabah Close
