Local law firm Kenny Spring Solicitors has made the decision to donate 10 per cent of the fees generated from any new and existing wills, power of attorney or enduring guardian drafted at the firm during July to charity Veritas House.
Veritas House, a charity with close ties to the Kenny Spring team, provides accommodation and support services to children, young people and their families.
The Kenny Spring staff say the funds raised in July will help Veritas purchase winter and summer school uniforms, school bags, stationery, lunchboxes, drink bottles, books and other school supplies for young people experiencing homelessness or who have transitioned into independent living.
They say experiencing homelessness or moving to independent living should not be a barrier to continuing your education.
Veritas House’s aims include ending the cycle of homelessness and helping people reach their full potential.
