Dianne Gill, a rural adversity mental health consultant, will conduct a Community Support Skills Training Day in the CWA Hall at 172 Russell Street. It will be a chance for participants to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to identify and approach people they are concerned about and provide appropriate advice to connect people with mental health services and support, as well as seek help with their own mental wellbeing. The event will start at noon (tea and coffee will be available) and will finish with a light lunch at 1.30pm, including fellowship and questions.
Bathurst Regional Art Gallery curator’s talk: hear from the Jam Factory’s senior curator, Margaret Hancock Davis, at a free talk about the touring exhibition STEEL: art design architecture. The talk will be held at 11am. RSVP on 6333 6555.

A free screening of the film Hope Road will be held on Thursday, August 16 at 6pm in Room 233, Building 1292, CSU Bathurst. It will be followed by a Q and A session with the film director.
