That’s what will help Bathurst City is their upcoming women’s Premier League Hockey trip to face Lithgow Panthers.
City toughed out an impressive 3-all draw against CYMS in the previous round and Bathurst coach Nick Klower said determination of that level will go a long way against another quality opponent.
“We’re finally starting to get the team together. We’ll have the same side from the game against CYMS, and I’m keen to see that because that group of girls played very well against CYMS,” he said.
“That gives us a great benchmark for where we’re at for our game against Panthers.”
Panthers won the previous meeting 4-2.

City are hopeful of getting a full strength squad back together in the run towards finals but have still shown plenty of cohesion over the past month.
Their efforts have kept them fourth on the ladder.
“It’s an interesting back end to the season. We’ll be happy to get this one out of the way. We’ve got a decent run home but this will be our biggest test before finals,” he said.
“Lithgow are exceptional at the moment. They’re playing excellent, controlled hockey … and doing it all with intention.”
City have two trips to Lithgow over the final three rounds of the regular season.
They’ll finish with a trip to play Zig Zag in a fortnight’s time.
