The Bathurst star certainly enjoyed finding a game with Centennials Bulls when she could, and would love to repeat that for 2018-19.
“It was great being able to play in Bathurst last year when I could," she said.
“Because I had seven years off it was tough at the start of the summer, I probably wasn’t playing as well as I would’ve liked but there was some good lessons in there and it was good grounding for me to then go and play grade and representative cricket in Sydney.
“I had a really good season last year, it was just nice to be able to play some cricket at the (top) level I guess. I never thought I would be playing with NSW or the Sydney Thunder.
“If I could play a few more games this season I’d be stoked. We made the semi-finals last season so if could one better and make the final, or two better and win, that’d be amazing.
“Any opportunity I get to come back and play with Centennials, I’ll take. I love that club and I’ve played with that club since I first started playing, so I’ll be back whenever I can."
Centennials didn’t get the season they’d hoped for in BDCA first grade but they did score a big prize with the Royal Hotel Cup.
Griffith has played down her chances of featuring in the Orange-based Twenty20 tournament but got a kick out of the club’s success.

“They had a pretty good side last year, I don’t think they need me,” she laughed.
“It was great to see the club win [the Royal Hotel Cup] last year, that was awesome. We’ll see how we go, I’d love to play in it, but I never want to take anyone’s spot given I’m not playing regularly throughout the season.
“I don’t want to interfere too much and they had a pretty good side last year, but if the opportunity came up, I’d take that one too.”
Griffith was recently travelling across the Central West as part of the Cricket NSW Country Blitz, which aims to put the next generation of stars through their paces ahead of this summer’s Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL).
Thunder start their season against Melbourne Renegades on December 2.
