GP Synergy, a general practice training provider funded by the Australian Government, brought together more than 60 local health professionals and special guests for a networking event to help GP registrars settle into the area.
GP Synergy deputy CEO Georgina van de Water welcomed guests, encouraging them to get to know the GP registrars who are training in general practices in Bathurst, Oberon and Lithgow.
“Three doctors have moved to the local area this term, joining the 25 doctors who are in the later stages of training,” Mrs van de Water said.
“All are training under the supervision of local GPs.”
