It was a remarkable feat in 1997 as the fourth grade Bulldogs side began the day by clinching its fifth consecutive title.
It continued as third grade, second grade and first grade followed with grand final successes of their own.
This Saturday at Orange’s Endeavour Oval Bulldogs will try to emulate that feat when four teams in blue and gold line up for grand finals.
Fittingly, it will be a battle with old foes Orange Emus in first, second and third grade deciders, while in the women’s Ferguson Cup grand final it will be Bulldogs verses CSU.
“It’s a great feeling at the cub at the moment. It was definitely one of our goals at the start of the season to get all grades into the grand finals,” Bulldogs club captain Mark Donnelly said.
“Colts were unlucky not to get in, they put in the work throughout the year but they just didn’t get there in the end, which was unfortunate for them.
“But to get to get the ladies, thirds, seconds and ones all in grand finals is an awesome achievement I think.
“We’d be more than happy with one win, but to take all four would be the icing on the cake.”
