MOUNT Panorama holds a special place in many race fans’ hearts and each year thousands of them make the pilgrimage to Bathurst to take in the action of the Great Race.
Many have spent decades coming to the iconic circuit for race week, while for others it is the first time they have experienced the thrill of the Bathurst 1000.
This year, more than 6000 campsites were booked around the Mount, with a staggering 33,000 people to be sleeping in tents, swags, caravans and campers of all shapes and sizes.
This year, as always, we’ll be talking to fans, teams, volunteers and everyone in between to bring you stories and faces from the track for this gallery, enjoy.
