Show will be a mixed bag
THIS Saturday afternoon on Retro Top 40, Tim Williams will present a mixed bag of four musical mini-themes.
First up you’ll hear music from piano players who also sing and Billy Joel will feature for this part of the program.
Then it’s songs that have a title starting with the word ‘Oh’, like Oh Boy by the Crickets.
In the second half of the program, Tim will focus on songs that featured pop stars in often uncredited guest roles and will play tracks like Hammerhead by James Reyne that featured Olivia Newton-John co-singing.
The afternoon will round out with half an hour of trains songs, where you’ll definitely hear My Baby Takes the Morning Train by Sheena Easton.
Tune in Saturday afternoon from 4pm to 6pm on Retro Top 40 with Tim Williams for a mixed bag of four musical mini-themes.
