The members wanted to make it clear how much they appreciated the Bathurst RSL providing a venue for the members to hold concerts.
“We have always had so much co-operation; it's been amazing,” country music club president Ian Hobba said.
The country music club was formed in 1984 after a public meeting in the old RSL Bowling Club, which was where the police station now sits.
Bathurst RSL Club general manager Peter Sargent said it was a “lovely surprise” to be thanked by the country music club.
“Our club is very focused on maintaining relationships and preserving traditions,” he said.
“The club is really just a composition of smaller clubs that make up the bigger club.”
He said the Bathurst RSL Club was committed to continue working with the Bathurst Country Music Club.
“It's a great avenue for people to get up and perform in front of others,” Mr Sargent said.
“And it’s nice to see there's a mix in the group: from seasoned performers to some people who are just indulging their passion.”
