Bathurst sent three teams to compete in the tournament, with 13 teams competing all up.
The rules are slightly different, with 20 minute halves, field and goals being marginally smaller and there’s no slide tackles.
Matt Markwick, who featured in Bathurst’s White team, said it was great to see players put aside their club rivalries to represent Bathurst District Football.
“Competition was very close with a good standard of football being played,” he said.
“It was great to play football with guys who you’ve played against for a long time, but until last weekend never played with.
“It was great to see all the clubs pull together and put aside their club rivalries to represent the BDF.”
Bathurst White were unable to find a win in any of its five games but all games proved to be competitive.
White opened its account with a 1-1 draw with Tahmoor, before two more 1-1 draws with Young and Dubbo on the first day.
Another 1-1 draw followed on the second day, against Wagga, before going down to Young Lions 2-1.
Cowra Eagles eventually defeated Young Lions in the cup final.
Tahmoor found success in the plate final, defeating Orange’s Barnestoneworth United.
