BATHURST’S All Saints’ Anglican Cathedral will host a non-denominational memorial service on Thursday evening. Reverend Rosie Wynter invited the whole community to come together to honour the memory of their loved ones who have died. “It will be a service of thanksgiving for people to come together to remember a relative or someone they have lost either over the past year or at another time in their life,” she said. “It’s not a traditional liturgical church service, but rather a time for the general public to come somewhere and listen to some lovely music, to light a candle and reflect on that person or people they have lost.” The service, the second of its kind in Bathurst, will be at All Saints’ Cathedral from 7pm on Thursday.
