The band will perform at the Machattie Park rotunda on Saturday from 5pm before performing on Remembrance Day service on Sunday.
Wendy Jenkins, the music director for the Bathurst City and RSL Band, said the band has traditionally performed on Remembrance Day.
“We have 35 musicians, who play woodwind, brass and percussion instruments,” she said.
“We practice two hours every week and we always love new members.”
This year’s Remembrance Day activities are slightly bigger than previous years, as 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the Armistice which ended World War 1.
On Saturday, an assortment of school bands and big bands from across NSW will perform at Machattie Park, totalling 13 all up.
Some of the bands include the Central West Brass Band, the Northern Beaches Band, the Tottenham Town Band and Musique Classique Band.
The Bathurst City and RSL Concert Band will perform on Sunday from 10am at Kings Parade, with activities for children in the afternoon.
The next big performance for the band will be the Carols by Candlelight at Machattie Park on December 9.
