HE was the star forward in Sydney FC’s National Premier Leagues under 20s side this season and now Hamish Lamberton is looking to star for the sky blues once more.
This Saturday afternoon the Bathurst talent will line up for Sydney FC’s Youth League outfit in its FYL season opener against the Newcastle Jets.
It is a chance he earned after finding the back of the net 19 times in 25 performances for the National Premier League’s outfit in 2018.
Lamberton, who will wear number nine on his back, is set to pair with his NPL striking partner Jordi Swibel up front.
His team-mates also include the likes of Young Socceroos goalkeeper Duro Dragicevic and Joeys captain captain Ryan Teague.
They will be guided by Giancarlo Italiano, a man who has previously worked with Lamberton as part of the under 20s squad.
