Hines Constructions was the key company behind the building of the Wolgan Valley campus for Sydney’s Cranbrook School, which was completed in November 2017.
In recognition of their work, the construction firm was awarded ‘Best Student Accommodation Project Valued at up to $7.5 million’ by the Master Builders Association [MBA] of NSW at their Excellence in Construction awards night.
Hines is one of the few firms outside of metropolitan Sydney to ever receive such recognition.
“It was an absolute pleasure to publicly recognise Hines Constructions for the role they have played in realising this vision,” Cranbrook School headmaster Nicholas Sampson said.
“With Cranbrook School celebrating its 100th year this year, the establishment of our Wolgan Valley campus will allow us to provide students with a broader educational platform in our second century.”
The construction firm was also successful at the MBA Western Regions Building Awards back in September, coming away with five awards including ‘Commercial Builder of the Year’ for 2018.
Hines Constructions is currently involved in a number of notable building projects in Bathurst, including the new ambulance station and the redevelopment of Westpoint Shopping Centre.
