The defending BDCA champions started the season well in winning their first three matches, however suffered a heavy loss against City Colts in round five when they went down by 99 runs.
Coming into the Twenty20 section of the first grade competition, Rugby Union Cricket captain Imran Qureshi is a man in great form.
He is currently the second highest run scorer in the competition this season, having scored 155 runs including a top score of 59.

Qureshi is excited to get some time out on the field in the Twenty20 format given last year’s games were an entire washout.
“You have to swing hard from the first ball in the format and take a few more risks than in the other formats, but it is also important to spend some time at the crease and get your eye in,” Qureshi said.
Rugby Union have a talented line-up that should provide great hitting from the crease.
“Jeremy Thackray always does a good job, and I am really excited for Brad Glasson. He has such a good energy at the crease,” Qureshi said.
“With our bowling, we just have to bowl the right line and lengths and we should get wickets. Basically whoever performs best on the day will win.”
The Rugby Union side will still be without batsman Jameel Qureshi.
Jameel made his last appearance in the competition in round one, however an injury has left him sidelined and he expected to miss the Twenty20s.
“Jameel’s recovery is okay at the moment,” Imran Qureshi said.
“He suffered a fractured knuckle after round one and it is expected it will take another three to four weeks of recovery time, sadly.”
Rugby Union has two Twenty20 matches on Saturday, playing St Pat’s at 12.30pm and the Centennials Bulls at 4pm.
