STUDENTS from MacKillop College celebrated their success in the Higher School Certificate on Thursday with a breakfast in the school staff room.

The school were ecstatic with the results of the 2018 HSC cohort, with 32 Band 6 results across 13 subjects awarded to 17 students.
Year 12 co-ordinator, Kylie Dickenson, said the results overall were excellent.
“We are very proud of everyone, a lot of the girls did better then they expected in their exams, they’ve all worked very hard and are very deserving of these results.
School Captain Daisy Pike, got five Band 6s in her results including extension history, advanced English, general maths two and visual arts.
She said she “was stoked” with her results.

Daisy is taking a gap year and will study Law and International Relations at the University of Wollongong in 2020.
She will be joined by Georgia Cuzner and Angela Lane, who will also be studying the same degree.
