It will mark the mid-way point of the Bathurst season, one that has thus far seen quality racing in both the short and long course events.
While Nick North (long course) and Mark Windsor (short course) notched up back-to-back wins to start the season, they have been pushed by their rivals and will need to work hard to maintain their streaks.
The competition amongst the female members of the club should also be a good, with newcomers Jen Arnold and Hollee Simons in good touch, as are the more experienced Kirsten Howard and Peta Cutler.
There countless more Wallabies will be pushing for personal bests as they tackle either the short (300 metres swim, 16 kilometre cycle, 2.5km run) or long course (500m swim, 16km cycle, 5km run). Senior racing will commence at 8am.
