Round two of the CCTV Funding Program is now open for applications. Funding is available to assist local businesses improve security and community safety. Businesses in the Bathurst Region may apply for a maximum of $500 on a dollar for dollar basis. Projects must be completed within the 2018/2019 financial year. Bathurst Bridge Club welcomes new members and beginners with lessons. Five bridge sessions are held each week at the clubhouse in Lower Mitre Street. Contact the secretary on 0437 270 618 for more details.
The Summer Reading Program is for children aged zero -17 years and will run until January 31. Register with the library then borrow, read and record books that have been read in the logbooks and hand them back in. Register online to learn about more activities at summerreadingclub.org.au

Council's museums will be open to the public for free on International Museum Selfie Day on January 16.
