The appeal of the dam has been bolstered by the addition of the Bathurst Aqua Park, which has been admirably serving the community as an ideal recreational destination.
Since opening in November, the aqua park has regularly attracted numbers in the hundreds.
In addition, the dam continues to be a desirable location for people to venture out on boats, try their hand at paddleboarding and get together for a barbecue.
Summer’s not over yet, and there’s still plenty of time to plan a trip out to the dam.
