A range of events were put on for community to enjoy, including the Eglinton Barbecue Breakfast and activities at the Manning Aquatic Centre.
Some of the villages also got involved in Australia Day with their own smaller events.
One of the highlights of the day was the citizenship ceremony, where 22 new citizens were formally recognised by the Bathurst community.
They had come from a range of countries, including Mauritius, Nigeria and Bangladesh.
