The 23-year-old Porsche Young Professional has his sights set on an outright win in the renowned enduro.
Campbell will share the #912 Earl Bamber Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3-R with Germany’s Dirk Werner and Norwegian Dennis Olsen in this year’s edition of the Bathurst 12 Hour.
It will be mark the start of his maiden Intercontinental GT Challenge campaign, the talented young Australian driver having been promoted to the two-car factory-backed outfit.
He knows it is a “milestone step” in his career and wants to “make the most of the opportunity”, starting with Bathurst glory.

“We have been strong every other year and our ambitions are the same. This year in a factory-backed car, I’m in an even better position to go for an outright win,” Campbell said.
“We have a car with the potential of winning and the right team behind us – all we need this year is a little luck with the traffic and flags.
“Dennis and I got on really well from when we competed against each other as Porsche Juniors in 2017 and we are also both good mates with Dirk. It’s a real team effort and our egos don’t get in the way.
“A win at Bathurst in my home race in a factory-backed Porsche would be very special.”
Campbell made his debut in the Bathurst 12 Hour as an 18-year-old in 2014, placing third in class in a Fiat Abarth 500.
The next two years the entries he was a part of – the Amac Motorsport Porsche 997 and Objective McLaren 650S – were forced to withdraw before hitting the 50-lap mark.
