First, we get a massive cut to migrant support services across Bathurst, Orange and four other surrounding local council areas, which Mr Gee completely missed the memo on (Western Advocate, February 7).
Hello! Mr Gee is our sitting Nats MP and the supposed government in office, but he had absolutely no idea that a frontline cut was coming to our local services.

In classic Nats style, Mr Gee arrogantly blamed everyone but himself for the stuff-up, despite the fact it was his Abbott-Turnbull-Morrison Government who told us in October last year that more and more migrants were to be forced to live in regional areas.
So, I guess that means we are to get more migrants but much less support per migrant – what a great deal for rural communities that is (not)!
And now, as published in The Sydney Morning Herald (February 9), we see that the Coalition is actively “negotiating agreements” somewhere in the Orana region (Central West) to start the program of forcing migrants into our local rural communities.
Given the debacle over the past week to simply get back to square one on frontline migrant support services, everyone has a right to ask: Does Mr Gee and his Nats have any idea what is going on; where the new migrant transfers are happening across the Central West; and what level of support will come with their arrival?
