It has taken four years for a second badly named train to run from Bathurst to Sydney each day. ("Tarana to get a Bathurst Bullet stop and Opal infrastructure", Western Advocate, February 21).
We continue to be promised so much in the month before the election. Why has very little happened in the last four years?
Perhaps because the present government is intent on wasting so much money in Sydney.
The destruction of the Sydney Football Stadium and the plan to move the Powerhouse Museum to Parramatta are two good examples of waste.
I guess if the Coalition wins on March 23 we will have to wait another four years to be promised so much for this area.
