The facility broke ground in 1987 and saw 13 independent living villas completed in time for its official opening in 1989.
Since 2004, the facility has been run by the Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution [RFBI].
"RFBI has been around for a number of years in the area, and we're very proud to be offering such a homely environment for our residents," RFBI Bathurst Masonic Village general manager Helen Armstrong said.
"We offer 45 beds for residents, and our service is only going to grow in vitality as the years go on."
Judith Goodridge is the longest-living resident at the facility, and has resided there for 23 years.
The Bathurst facility is one of 23 sites run by the RFBI across NSW and the ACT.
"As a not-for-profit organisation, the RFBI looks after residential care, home care and independent living and has been servicing the Australian population since 1880," RFBI regional manager Sanjila Verma said.
The ceremony was attended by Bathurst councilor Jacqui Rudge, and said the facility had gone from strength to strength over the years.
"Bathurst is very fortunate to have this facility offering fantastic services for our loved ones," Cr Rudge said.
