THEY may have missed a place in the $1,000,000 Miracle Mile this Saturday night at Menangle but Bathurst trainer-driver combination Chris and Anthony Frisby still have two big shots at success at the nation's biggest race meeting.

Our Uncle Sam was left to rely on a wildcard spot to reach the Miracle Mile but when that didn't come his way Chris Frisby was still able to give him a start in a high speed Group 1 Bohemia Crystal Free For All (2,400 metres) worth $100,000.
The Inter Dominion and Hunter Cup runner-up will be joined in the race by Steve Turnbull's Coviction and Amanda Turnbull's Ellmers Image.
The Frisby's Sibelia Stakes champion Major Occasion will also be making the trip to Menangle as she seeks a third win in a row.
Major Occasion gave the trainer his first ever Group 2 victory and she lines up in the $200,000 Ladyship Mile (1,609m) hoping to add a first Group 1 crown to the list of achievements.
It's been the greatest racing season of Chris Frisby's life and it could reach a new high with his two stable stars.
"Someone said to me the other day that there's probably more people enjoying the ride of Uncle Sam and my mare than I am," Frisby said.
"I said to him 'you're probably right, because you don't enjoy the moment until it's over' and you think 'Gee I had a good one then'."
Major Occasion pinched the spotlight from Our Uncle Sam with her Sibelia Stakes win at $18 odds but Frisby wouldn't be surprised if she continues to shine.
"Uncle Sam has done a completely unbelievable job and the mare has just stepped up so much," he said.
"At home she can beat Uncle Sam, and do it easily, but he's a great racehorse. If she improves like Sam has then she will be right up there as well."
Punters have narrowed down the Ladyship Mile to a three-mare battle.
Leading the way is Mark Purdon's Breeders Crown legend Our Dream About Me. The Bettors Delight mare is chasing her 25th win in her 43rd start.
Recent Melton Ladyship Cup winner Carlas Pixel and Robin Dundee Stakes champion Tell Me Tales are the others tipped to feature among the finish.
Major Occasion looks set to start around $26 for the mares classic.
As for Our Uncle Sam? Frisby said he's still looking sharp as ever.
Our Uncle Sam looks to be in the battle for favouritism alongside Ashley Locaz - another horse who narrowly missed a Miracle Mile start.
"He's looking a million dollars. He's almost too fresh. I had to keep him fresh for the mile in case he gets a run but I've got to prepare him for the 2,400m," Frisby said.
"On his other runs you'd think he'd be right up there."
Bathurst trainers failed to qualify a runner for the night's NSW Derby and NSW Oaks.
Racing at Menangle starts from 6.22pm while the Ladyship Mile is set to run at 7.48pm.
