Perthville School of Arts Hall, HNS Canvas, the church block at Eglinton and Preilbua Thai Massage each received the maximum amount of $500.
In order to be successful, each applicant had to provide details on the equipment they were seeking, agree to register their equipment with police and supply information addressing the need for CCTV at their location.
There also had to be a potential for coverage of the public space adjacent to the premises and successful businesses will need to have the installation complete within 90 days of approval.
Council had allocated $10,000 for the CCTV Funding Program in the 2018-19 financial year, but after two rounds $5526.27 remains unused.
It will be redirected to stage one of the Central Business District CCTV project.
With the approval of the four new applications, this takes the total of businesses with CCTV under the program to 59.
More than 60 have been approved, however 10 businesses were withdrawn from the program after failing to complete installation.
