The car, a Tesla with Falcon Wing doors, will be on display in the CBD through the afternoon this Saturday for those who want to catch a glimpse of the future.
Quota International of Bathurst will hold the dinner-dance to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association of NSW.
"Lynne Hawley, a previous regional director, will be remembered at the dinner," Bathurst Quota's Judy Cannon said.
"Lynne was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last year and was delighted that the Bathurst Quota Club had planned a fundraiser.
"Sadly, Lynne passed away before the function could take place."

The dinner-dance will be held this Saturday, March 30 at the Bathurst City Community Club.
"There will be a silent auction of a variety of products and offers from local businesses, as well as some very interesting tech gadgets on display," Ms Cannon said.
The Tesla is coming to Bathurst thanks to tech, cars and lifestyle website EFTM.
"The car will be displayed at the corner of William and Durham streets from 2.30-6pm," Ms Cannon said.
The Nodding Thistles will provide music on the night.
