Walking Back From Cowriga Creek, a solo exhibition of collages, etchings and books by Millthorpe-based artist Tim Kelly, will be at T’arts Gallery from March 15 to 28. The show will open at 6pm at 80 George Street. Millthorpe artist Aida Pottinger will open the exhibition.
Book your spot for the BRAGS Cocktail Quiz on Friday, March 22 at 6pm. Quizmaster Richard Perram will be your host for an evening of fun, frivolity and fundraising. Money raised on the night will help the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery Society purchase a special work for the BRAG collection to celebrate 50 years of giving. Cycling stars of the future can ride on the Bathurst Cycling Classic criterium course between the pros during the Family Fun Challenge at 11am. Entry is free and registration will be quick and easy on the day.
Holy Trinity Church Market Day will be held from 9am to 1pm in the Parish and Community Centre at 81 Gilmour Street, Kelso. There will be the usual stalls and plenty of parking. Come and enjoy the friendly hospitality, have a chat and enjoy the milder weather. The raffle will be drawn at 1pm.
You Spill Things, an experimental performance, will be presented from 2pm to 3pm at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery.

Join the residents of the Turon goldfields, NSW Corp of Marines and Lithgow Living History in a day of historical re-enactments and displays at the Rebellion on the Turon day at Sofala. Activities will start at 10am with the firing of the 1820s cannon. The Redcoats will be there with pistol and sword duels. Ride a Cobb and Co coach, see the penny-farthings and then visit the 1850s surgeon’s tent. Kids, be sure you visit the archaeological dig. The re-enactment of the Rebellion on the Turon with the Turon Diggers' uprising against the gold licensing fee and the march on the Police Barracks will be sprung after a fresh corn lunch at 1pm.

Craig Reucassel, host of ABC television’s popular series The War on Waste, will be the guest speaker at this year’s Sustainable Living Expo on Saturday, March 23. The expo will run from 8am to 12.30pm and will be held in conjunction with the Bathurst Farmers’ Markets at the Bathurst Showgrounds. It will also feature family entertainment Zoo to You and The Radical Recyclers. Entry is by gold coin donation to Bathurst Lions Club.
