Held in Newcastle from March 12 to 14, the Western side featured five players from Kelso High and two from Bathurst High, as well as another two students from Blayney High.
And a sign on how incredible Western's performance was, they dropped just the one set across all nine games they played.
Kelso High teacher and Western coach Jerry Sheader said he was immensely proud of his side's performance at Newcastle.
"They did exceptionally well, considering it's a young team with seven year 10s and two year 11s," he said.
"They ended up taking out the final, which was bloody amazing. I was really impressed with the girls, especially with the four years of training they've been putting in since year 7."
To win the state title, it was really incredible.

Heading into the three-day tournament, Sheader wasn't expecting his side to take home a gold medal, but was more hopeful that his side would make a push for a top three spot.
"Leading into the tournament, I thought it would've been lovely to get the win, but I didn't think it would've been this year," he said.
"I was hoping to be up there, in a medal place, but to win the state title, it was really incredible. And it's so incredible because they're such a young team."
Western defeated Sydney West in the final two sets to nil, the Sydney West side taking in players from right across Western Sydney.
Sheader described his team's performance throughout the tournament as both patient and mature
"They played really patient and mature volleyball and they weren't risking any shots," he said.
"They were basically keeping the other team under pressure by not making any unforced errors. They eventually wore teams down with their defence and their mature and sensible hitting style."
From that Western team, four players were selected in the Open NSW Combined High School squad - Tegan Bush, Lily Grimmond, Taylor Hobby and Zara Sheader.
Maddie Vallis and Grimmond were both selected as the association's MVP.
Three of those four players (Maddie Vallis played instead of Taylor Hobby) that were selected in the open side also competed as part of the under 15s NSW Combined High Schools side at the Schools Sports Australia Championships at Bendigo in September, 2018.
The four selected girls will now travel down to Sydney for NSW All Schools Open Volleyball Tri Series in June.
Next week it'll be the boys turn to shine, when Bathurst hosts the NSW Combined High School Volleyball Boys Championship next week.
Held at the Bathurst Indoor Sports Stadium, the tournament will run from March 26 to 28.
