The promising filly from the stable of Menangle Park trainer KerryAnn Turner is one of the two-year-old hopefuls who are vying for the coveted Group 1 Gold Tiara trophy at this year's Bathurst Gold Crown Carnival.
Across the four 1,730 metres qualifying heats which will be staged at the Gold Crown Paceway this Friday night, only six are last start winners. Eye Can Run is one of them.
The Heston Blue Chip x Eye Betta Fly filly took out the annual Group 2 Pink Bonnet at Menangle earlier this month as a $21 outsider.
She rated a handy 1.54:2 mile rate, coming from four back on the pegs to snatch the win. She was more than three lengths off the pace through the final bend, so driver Robbie Morris steered her wide to find space.
Over the last 100m Eye Can Run showed explosive speed to take the honours. It is that turn of foot which could land her a Gold Tiara.
