Sunday's 32-all draw at Jack Arrow Oval comes after 2018's 36-all affair at Forbes' Spooner Oval, adding to an exciting history in the memorial clash - a game which celebrates the life of the footballer who died in 2013.
Magpies have retained the cup again courtesy of the draw and it took a post-siren kick for them to keep their hands on the prize.
The visitors were awarded a penalty attempt from more than 40 metres out and the kick found the target.
Pat's president Dave Chapman said the clubs provided yet another entertaining contest for spectators.
"Unfortunately for us the holder of the silverware gets to keep it with a draw. It was sad to see the memorial trophy make its way back on the bus.
"I had my finger poised on the button ready to play the club song before they kicked one from 40 out.
"It was a fitting end though to what had been a fantastic day and a great hit out for our club across all grades."
Both teams made a great account of themselves in the top grade contest.
New Saints combinations looked solid across the park and the new leadership from Luke Branighan is lead to positive play, in the eyes of Chapman.
"One thing I took out of the game is that Traie Merritt - Zac's brother, our second rower - can kick them from all over the place, and he's looking like a very solid middle or fringe forward," he said.

"There aren't an enormous amount of new faces there this year. We had Zac, Hudson White and Mick Hawkings - three guys who would be first 17 selections - missing on the weekend.
"I'm really liking the look of our halves pairing of Luke Branighan and TIm Holman. They looked like they'd been playing together for a long time."
In the other grades the Forbes under 18s were too strong in a 32-12 win but Pat's got up 28-16 in the reserve grade match.
Fresh off their fourth successive Western League Tag Challenge title the ladies side carried their form into their match against the Magpies to record a 40-6 win.
The day was also an opportunity for Pat's to showcase their new jerseys for 2019. Saints have opted for a white-dominated strip as their home colours as opposed to their traditional blue.
St Pat's get their new Group 10 premier league season underway on April 14 in a home meeting against Orange CYMS.
