Bathurst is set to be transformed formed into a hub for NRL fans, as the Penrith Panthers bring their home game against Melbourne Storm to Carrington Park on Saturday.

And while the game is on Saturday, the Panthers are set to arrive slightly early on Thursday, March 28.
Bathurst mayor Graeme Hanger said the Panthers have a busy schedule of activities that has plenty of opportunities for the community to meet players.
"Players and coaching staff will take the time out of their training schedule to get into the community ahead of the big game. There's several opportunities for community members to meet and greet their favourite Panthers players," he said.
"Ticket sales have been good with gold and silver corporate hospitality and grandstand seating sold out."
Players from the Panthers will kick-off their visit to Bathurst with the Peachy-Richardson Gala Day at Jack Arrowing Sporting Complex on Thursday at 12.15pm, with around 20 players involved and 300 children expected to attend.
This will be followed by the Play Like a Panther Super Clinic at the Bathurst Sportsground on Thursday afternoon at 4pm.
Later that evening, there will be a players' meet and greet at Panthers Bathurst Leagues Club from 6.30pm to 7.15pm.
On Friday, a must attend for all footy fans, the sportman's lunch will be held at Panthers Bathurst, with the event to include special guests including Penrith coach Ivan Cleary and club legend Royce Simmons, with Tim Gilbert to MC the event.
At the sportman's lunch, there'll be a silent auction, with tickets to the event costing $60 which includes drinks and a two-course meal.
Come game day Saturday, March 30, there will be three games for fans to watch.
Gates open at 4pm, with the first game - the Western Women's under 18s grand final - kicking off at 4pm.
This will be followed by the first Group 10 premier league game of the season at 5pm, with defending premiers Bathurst Panthers locking horns with Blayney Bears at 5pm.
The main game between Penrith Panthers and Melbourne Storm is set to kick-off at 7.35pm.
