Glenray lost its commercial laundry on May 5, 2018 after a terrible fire, which was later ruled to be accidental.
The organisation, which has more than 30 supported employees, not only lost the building, but all of the new equipment that had been installed earlier that year.
Less than 24 hours after the blaze, Glenray was given a lifeline by the Catholic Diocese of Bathurst, which offered the organisation the use of the former St Catherine's Nursing Home site.
The kind donation allowed Glenray to retain every single job and maintain an adequate service to its clients until it got back on its feet.
General manager Kath Graham said that the team was able to move into its new building at the end of January, becoming fully operational by the end of February.
"There were a few teething issues with the machinery, however, with the help of the Girbau team, we were able iron out those issues and move forward with providing service and quality that Glenray aspire to," she said.
The re-build of the laundry has also enabled Glenray to improve its services.
Its new state-of-the-art equipment has provided the capacity to increase its tonnage to 70 tonne per week, while the building itself is also more energy efficient.
The building includes LED lighting, increased insulation, energy efficient equipment and there is re-circulation and recycling of water.

People will have the opportunity to see and hear more about the new building on Friday when the doors are opened to the public.
Ms Graham said the community had been very supportive since the fire and Glenray wanted to involve everyone in the re-opening.
"We wanted to give back to the community because over the past 10 months they have been more generous than we ever expected," she said.
"It is a great opportunity for the community to see the scale of our facility, which services Bathurst and the Central West."
The public are welcome to attend Glenray between 12pm and 3pm on Friday.
B-Rock will be broadcasting live from the building and doing giveaways from 12pm, and at 1pm there will be a guided tour by Matthew Clarke from Girbau.
