The Bathurst Little Athletics sprinter won his 100m final by two tenths of a second, in a time of 11.19, and while his 200m final was a closer affair he was still unbeatable with a run of 22.24.
Bathurst's other medallists at the state championships were Will Curtin, Aaron Houston and Breanna Fisk.
Curtin's under 9s 70m sprint bronze, in particular, was impressive as he lowered his time with every run.
He entered the championships with a seed time of 10.76, topped the time sheets during the heats with his 10.67 then ran a 10.59 for his third placing.
Curtin has enjoyed an impressive return to the sport having recently broken a longstanding Bathurst Little Athletics club record for his age in the 400m.
Houston won the under 15-17 800m multi class and Fisk claimed gold in the girls under 13-14s multi class discus.
Fisk also picked up silver in the shot put and Houston scored bronze in the long jump.
Bathurst Little Athletics spokesperson Belinda Ireland said the medals are the result of hours spent honing their skills.
"Both of the boys have done really well in their own age groups this season," she said.
"Zen works his butt off and has a natural talent for it. His family's got a great background in the sport, but in saying that it's still up to the individual athlete to put the effort into training.

"There were a couple of other great results. Hayley Davis did really well in the triple jump and Evan Smith was another one who did well, in the javelin."
Smith came up just shy of his 46.49 metre qualifying mark with his throw of 45.74m at the championships, an effort good enough for fifth place.

Davis made one of the most impressive personal best improvements across the Bathurst contingent during the event.
She came to the championships with a triple jump seed distance just shy of magic 10 metre mark (9.96) but ended up adding a full foot to that distance with a 10.27m and coming away eighth.
