Showgirl steward, Vicki Wilson said the competition is open to any young women aged 18-24 who want to become an ambassador for the agricultural show movement, or is already involved in the local community, agricultural community or just want to have a lot of fun.
Ms Wilson said entrants always have an amazing experience, and love being part of the event.
"You will get involved in the community and meet other girls, as well as receive a three day VIP pass to our great show, and many more great prizes."
"All the girls who enter really embrace it," she said.
Ms Wilson said she is keen to hear from any young women interested in the competition, but time is running out to enter.
Entries close at 5pm on April 12.
Ms Wilson said the Miss Showgirl Competition is always one of the highlights of the show, and thanked sponsors for their support.
Judging will take place on Saturday April, 27, at the Entertainment Centre William Street. Interviews will commence at approx. 9.15am in the morning and conclude in the afternoon.
Interviews will be for about 20 minutes and will be conducted by a panel of three independent judges.
