The event will offer members of the Bathurst community the unique opportunity to step up to the microphone and sing their way through a slew of rock anthems.
In addition, the event will utilise the expertise of an in-house band, which will provide a more authentic experience for those willing to show off their singing chops.
Music has been a part of Parade's life for as long as he can remember, and he has often fantasised about being the singer in a band.
While it's never the best idea to get too lost in your fantasies, there's no shame in taking some time out to participate in an enjoyable activity.
The only mystery at this stage is the range of songs the in-house band will be open to play because with rock music, the possibilities are endless.
For Parade, a number by The Doors certainly wouldn't go astray.
A diverse new EP from Tempermore
Speaking of rock music, Parade was lucky enough to hear some of the tracks off Tempermore's upcoming debut EP Diversity, and he certainly wasn't disappointed.
Featuring tracks such as the reflective 'Travelling Sideways,' the soulful 'Bliss' and the atmospheric 'Magic Man,' Diversity covers Tempermore's entire musical journey in just under half an hour of quality material.
Tempermore's journey as a band is one that Parade has keenly followed from the beginning.
Parade attended one of Tempermore's first gigs in 2014 at the Elephant and Castle Hotel and although they were still finding their sound, they were already showing promise as a cohesive unit.
There was even a time where a band that Parade was in shared the bill with Tempermore, which ended up being the final gig at the Farmers' Arms before it closed in mid-2017.
It's been a long time coming for Tempermore, but Parade is delighted that the band has finally put their music to record.
