He's back for Wednesday night's Graeme Board & Co Sale Graduate Prelude (1,730 metres) following his gritty consolation triumph.
Send It was a $26,000 purchase from last year's Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sales and is just a handful of wins away from reaching that amount in prizemoney.
Brad Hewitt said the Art Major gelding hasn't always been on his best behaviour, much like dam My Sunday Girl, but he's living up to his potential.
"He's done such a great job over this campaign so far," he said.
"He's always shown us a lot of ability but he's had a habit of being a bit silly at home. He's starting to put that behind him.
"Apparently his mother was exactly the same. She did a lot of things wrong at first. He's on his way to become a very nice three-year-old."
Hewitt said there were some concerns following the consolation run but it hasn't changed the outlook this season for his gelding.
"He actually pulled up a little bit crook for a few days but he seems to be back on top of things now," he said.
"He'll hopefully have the final after this race and then we'll look at the Breeders Crown in June."
Send It is likely to start as one of the leading hopes in the prelude when he starts from gate four.
He's picked up two wins from four starts to start his career.
No other Gold Crown Gold Consolation contenders are taking part in the race.
Group 1 Gold Tiara finalists York Minster and Katalytic will be in the prelude.
Bernie Hewitt's York Minster was the equal-priciest purchase of last year's sales at $36,000.
She starts from the inside gate following her seventh placing in the Gold Tiara Final.
The race has slightly opened up after the scratchings of Shoobees Rose and Roclea Star, who were set to begin on the outside of the front row.
The eight-race meeting starts from 5.12pm with the Graeme Board & Co Sale Graduate Prelude to act as the feature event.
