Parade, like many other members of the Bathurst community, will be eagerly anticipating the final plays of Houses Stark, Lannister and Targaryen in their bid to resolve the conflict in Westeros.
But with the threat of the undead White Walkers looming from the north of Westeros, it has Parade wondering whether the show will end with a barren wasteland covered in death.
The HBO fantasy series has captured the imagination of many throughout the last decade, and is highly deserving of its status as one of the greatest television shows of all time.
To offer an idea of Game of Thrones' grandiose scale, the final season is believed to have cost HBO over $90 million [USD] to make [more than $15 million an episode].
MAKING NEWS IN BATHURST:
The price tag is sure to be worth the payoff, as this series will be wrapping up eight years of sprawling storylines and complex characters.
Once Parade arrives home this evening, there will be quiet in the realm and nothing but that famous clockwork title sequence gracing his television screen.
As Tyrion once said, we're in the great game now, and the great game's terrifying.
Debut album from Mr Nelson
Bathurst musician Andy Nelson has set June 1 as the date for the launch of his debut album, and Parade couldn't be more excited!
The album, entitled Man on the Mountain, will be the first collection of new music from Nelson since his self-titled debut EP came out in late 2017.
Nelson's self-titled EP showcased his outstanding penchant for serene compositions, with the beautiful 'Little Sweet' [written about his three-year-old daughter Maeve] a prime example.
Parade has seen Nelson perform live many times and he never fails to leave an impression on stage with his outstanding musicianship and unmistakable beard.
Nelson's silhouetted portrait is depicted on the album cover for Man on the Mountain, and Parade cannot wait to see the record brought into full view!
