HOLIDAY makers hitting the road this long weekend are experiencing significant delays on the two main links between Bathurst and Sydney.
The Roads and Maritime Services' Live traffic website is advising motorists to allow extra travel time on both roads as they cope with the extra Good Friday traffic.
Emergency services are currently on the scene of a two-car crash at Bilpin on the Bells Line of Road that is impacting traffic in both directions.

And drivers on the Great Western Highway are also warned to expect significant delays between Katoomba and Leura, though it is westbound traffic that is most affected as families leave Sydney for the long weekend.
