The playground was funded by a $103,864 state government grant that came from their Stronger Country Communities fund.
Member for Bathurst Paul Toole inspected the playground yesterday and said it would bolster the appeal of the venue to families.
"By providing the playground equipment here, it sends a very strong message that families are key part of the club's sporting fraternity," Mr Toole said.
The playground was well used during the recent Gold Crown Carnival, and Bathurst Harness Racing Club CEO Danny Dwyer said it was important to provide an area for children to play.
"About 1000 adults attended the final night of the Gold Crown Carnival, and at any given time there was around 10 to 20 children using the playground," Mr Dwyer said.
"When you've got something to offer the children who attend race meetings, it expands our capabilities."
