Ebony Booth and Tanesha Case received the annual Lions Club of Bathurst Macquarie Equity Scholarships, which recognise students who have started studying at TAFE NSW and aim to encourage participation in further education and connection within the local Bathurst community.
Lions Club of Bathurst Macquarie member Sue Longmore said this was the second year the club had awarded the scholarships.
"Both students have clear career paths in mind and want to give back to the community, which aligns well with the Lions Club of Bathurst Macquarie's values and purpose," she said.
"We hope the scholarships of $250 each will help Ebony and Tanesha continue their studies and develop new and exciting interests at TAFE NSW."

Ms Booth said her goal is "to increase my knowledge of fitness and health and to teach people about the importance of keeping fit and healthy".
"I would also like to study exercise and sport science at university after I complete my TAFE NSW studies," she said.
Ms Case said decreasing her study costs "will give me the assistance I need to complete a course that will begin my education journey in an area I am very passionate about".
TAFE NSW student engagement officer Angie Trevor-Jones said Ms Booth, who is studying a Tertiary Preparation Certificate, and Ms Case, who is studying a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), were excited to receive the recognition.
"These scholarships are very generous and both the successful students and TAFE NSW are thrilled with the support of the Lions Club of Bathurst Macquarie," she said.
"This financial support will allow Ebony and Tanesha to continue to study in a career they love, helping them get the skills and experience needed to ensure they're job-ready."
