Neighbourhood Centres play a vital role in connecting our community members and providing important services.
We support inclusive and strong communities, it's our mission.
So, what do you love about your neighbourhood? That's the question we want everyone to consider.
The Neighbourhood Centre in Bathurst has an exciting competition and we want you to join in! In celebration of Neighbourhood Centre Week, we want you to post an image of yourself in front of something you love in your neighbourhood.
It might be a park, the river or sportsground or even a local landmark.
Use @TheNeighbourhoodCentre along with #BringingPeopleTogether with your post to be a part of this social media campaign.
The images with the most shares and the most likes will be in the draw for great prizes. Stay tuned as we make more announcements.
Start posting your images today and ask your friends to share it to help you win! This is for residents of Central and Far West NSW and Orana only.
The Neighbourhood Centre in Bathurst offers more services than most people realise.
We have our Migrant Support worker assisting people new to our country and region, we offer our Volunteer Engagement and Management Program services across the Central West, Far West and Orana regions and we have our own fantastic volunteers who help us deliver our Community Visitors Scheme and other services, keeping our communities strong.
Don't forget that National Volunteer Week is May 20-26 with the theme "Making a world of difference".
#NVW2019 This a is a great opportunity to recognise the valuable contribution your volunteers are making.
