And what a game to do it in.
Lawson will look to celebrate his century with victory but his team will have to work for it against fellow unbeaten side Mudgee Dragons at Carrington Park.
The match pits together the only remain undefeated teams in a mouthwatering top-of-the-table encounter.
Lawson, alongside new recruit Kevin Murray, are up against another dangerous centre pairing of Corin Smith and Lee Hicks.
Dragons have the narrow edge over the Bathurst club on point difference and will be determined to hold onto that spot in the face of a Panthers side on a 10-game winning streak.
Panthers president Dennis Comerford said it's exciting to see Lawson reach the triple figure mark with plenty of time to go in his Group 10 career.
"Any milestone that can be reached in rugby league is a great effort, whether it be 50 games or 100 games. To reach 100 first grade games in huge, and for a young bloke like Lawso who has a long career ahead of him I think it would be nothing for him to hit the 200 mark," he said.
"In a competition like Group 10 where, unless you play finals, you've got 16 games a year it's an amazing effort to reach 100.
"The most recent one to reach the mark was Trent Hotham last year and the one before him was Brent Seager."
Mudgee have been untouchable in 2019.
Not only have they gone four from four to start the regular season but they also took out the Bathurst Panthers Knockout in the pre-season.

Led by former NRL half Jack Littlejohn the Dragons have backed up the pre-season hype by living up to their potential.
Comerford said the quality of the contest should add to the occasion for the Lawson.
"Mudgee will obviously be a very hard game. I think they're the benchmark team this year, and for Lawso to reach that milestone against such a strong team is great," he said.
"There's a buzz around the club for this game. We don't know a big deal about Mudgee. We did see them play in the knockout, but with that being only 20 minutes each way it's hard to judge the quality of a side.
"We're looking forward to it and hopefully at the end of the day we can come away with the points but we know it's going to be hard.
"We've really got to lift our game by an extra 20 per cent but we have to wait and see what Mudgee play in front of us."
Mackenzie Atkins takes the place of Louis Murphy on the Panthers wing while the forward pack remains unchanged from last round's big win over Orange CYMS.
It shapes up as an important game for Panthers who have the tricky double of Dragons-Orange Hawks coming up.
The first grade game kicks-off from 2.45pm.
