Ms Rigby is one of eight participants in this year's Stars of Bathurst: Dance for Cancer fundraiser.
She's tasked with raising $2500 ahead of the showcase night on Saturday, June 15, at Bathurst Goldfields.
She's already held two barbecues to raise funds and plans to host another event - a high tea at the Coach House on June 9.
"It's my final one, so I'll be hoping to reach my target," she said.
Ms Rigby believes one of her staff members nominated her for the fundraiser, but she wasn't fazed by it.
"I said yes because I saw it as a great thing to do because it raises money for the Cancer Council, I get to network with the community and it'll be great fun," she said.
"I've had no previous dancing experience, expect for when I was at school and Saturday nights at the pub."
